Lieutenant-General Ng Chee Meng is the current Chief of the Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces as of 27 March 2013. He is the second Air Force Officer in Singapore's military history to hold this post after Bey Soo Khiang. He is the brother of the Chief of Navy, Rear-Admiral Ng Chee Peng and also the brother of Security and Intelligence Division Director Ng Chee Khern. He was promoted to a three star general in June 2013.
