Robert Harris (1849-7 April 1914) was a school teacher and local politician active in the Fulham area. Born in Radcliffe-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, he was educated in Nottingham before coming to London where he was art master at St Paul's School for thirty years. He became a member of Fulham Vestry and from 1900 its successor body, the Fulham Borough Council. He served as Mayor of Fulham in 1906-1907. He remained an alderman until his death. He was also a freemason and a founder member of the Society of Men of Nottingham in London. He died at his home in Chiswick in 1914, aged 64.
