Wearing such a ring also prolongs life, however it does not grant 'more life', but merely causes biological functions to continue. When worn for long enough, such a ring gradually causes its wearer to become transformed entirely into a spirit. At least the last aspect can be resisted through attributes, and all effects can be regularly resisted by sheer magnitude of power.
