Brent James Grunow (Born in Saginaw Michigan) professionally known as Brent James is an American rock musician and songwriter for Brent James & The Contraband. Shortly after graduation Brent moved to New York City to pursue music where he formed the post punk band MYTVS and toured the east coast regularly. Brent was also a founding member of The Flask that included Kid Rock guitarist Kenny Olson and Puddle of Mudd Drummer Shannon Boone. In 2009 Brent was introduced to Grammy Award Winning Producer Skidd Mills with whom he signed to SkiddCo Records and began recording his debut album in Nashville, TN. SkiddCo Records released his debut album on August 2nd 2011 entitled “Moment Of Silence”. The Bands debut single "Moment Of Silence"is currently at Hot AC radio. Brent has toured and shared th
