Clam City is the sixteenth stage in Donkey Kong Country and the sixth stage of Vine Valley. In the Game Boy Advance remake, it is the fifteenth stage in the game and the fifth of Vine Valley, being switched with Temple Tempest. This stage is the only underwater stage in Vine Valley. Clambos are the main enemy of this stage and they spit pearls at the Kongs to try to attack them. There is a large variation in the number of pearls the Clambos spit in this stage. For example, the first Clambo encountered only spits one pearl, while the one before the exit spits 5 at once.
