Fishing Boats are sloops designed for fishing deeper into the ocean. Players can rent a fishing boat for 1,000 Gold at a Fishmaster on Padres del Fuego, Tortuga, or Port Royal, but must be level 10 or higher in Fishing to do so. These ships cannot be damaged by direct attack or crossfire and only the Captain (whoever rented the ship) can steer a fishing vessel. Using a fishing boat improves your chances to catch Legendary Fish, also other regular fish caught from this craft tend to be larger.

  • The Fishing Boat is a vehicle in Far Cry 2. The fishing boat is a trashed boat with a chipped paint job and jury-rigged with a mounted gun. These boats can be found in commercial fishing areas such as Shwasana and Port Selao. The fishing boat has a low speed and is very loud, making it a poor choice for attacking. However, they are still faster than swimming, so they can be used to move across water if there are no other vehicles available.
  • Fishing Boats were boats that Ga-Matoran on Mata Nui used to fish and get around. The Av-Matoran Takua used one to get from Ta-Wahi to Ga-Koro and Po-Wahi. These boats were built by Marka at Ga-Koro.
