- "Cannibal" is the term used to describe humans that eat other humans. They are known to catch their prey in man traps, before giving them an excessive amount of food to fatten them in preparation for consumption. In Xena: Warrior Princess, a group of cannibals hunted Virgil and his friend, Yosef. Virgil was captured and imprisoned by them, after they had already captured and cooked Yosef. Xena and Gabrielle freed Virgil (and the other captive, Rubio) and managed to lure the cannibals into a trap which managed to kill all of them.
