The sunlight shone pleasantly through the open den entrance. I woke up from a deep sleep, stretching my back luxuriously. I've never had such a good rest since... Though it had been seasons and seasons since encountering the Seeker, I had still kept it a secret from my mother and the dreams still ceased to go away. I got up and gave myself a good grooming, making sure I got out all the stubborn tangles and until my fur was soft and shining. Then I looked around to see if my little sister, Jay, was awake. When I saw she was not, I climbed up and went out of the den.
