Lyndon Baines Johnson (August 27, 1908- January 22, 1973), often referred to as LBJ, was the 18th President of the Confederate States of America and the first Liberal Party President of the Confederacy. Like many liberal democrats, Johnson joined the Liberal Party in the 60s, over the issue of civil rights. Known for his "Great Society" legislation. During his administration he passed legislation that included the Confederate Civil Rights Act of 1966 and the Confederate Voting Rights Act of 1967. He died after suffering his third heart attack on January 22, 1973

Aside from civil rights laws, President Johnson is equally as known for his "War on Poverty", legislation, that would introduce such programs as Medicaid, Medicare,and Aid to Families with Dependant Children, and despite the growing conflict in Vietnam that occurred during his presidency, Johnson is still considered by many to be one of the Confederacy's greatest presidents. He died after suffering his third heart attack on January 22, 1973
