Story
| - Luara can't stand her guard partner Ragar.
Luara: I'm sick of making my guard shifts with a man that fears his own shadow. Ragar is too much of a coward to be a soldier of Syrtis. I don't want him to be fired, but I rather be with someone else. How about you talk to Tidan for me, and ask him to give me a new partner? It wouldn't be too hard, Tidan's right here in the village, you'll find him quick enough.
Tidan: I understand the situation, but I'm afraid I cannot get rid of Ragar with just Luara's word...
There is a way of finding out the truth of the situation. I'll give you this Note, with an order for Ragar, telling him to go kill a dangerous monster in the name of the royal guard. of course there is not such a monster, but it'll work to watch his reaction. Go give him the note and come tell me what happened.
Ragar: Well... orders? For me? Oh no! I can't go into the woods for something like that! It's too risky! Unless... you could go in my place, right? No? But I can't do it on my own!
Tidan: You don't need to explain anything. I could hear his whining from here. Go tell him the truth, tell him he can consider himself demoted and relieved from his post. We can't afford the luxury of having useless soldiers. Then, go tell Luara she'll have a new partner.
Ragar: Demoted? Relieved? All of this is my fault; I should have been brave and responsible to fulfill my duty. I guess Luara will be happy now, I really don't think she enjoyed my company...
Luara: So that's what the whining was about? Poor Ragar, I kind of pity him. I don't think it's his fault being a coward, but it's better for all of us this way. Thanks for your help.
