Lee Jae-Woo (b. Sept 8, 2948) was the first Premier of Sekowo. Lee was also the first President of Jiyū-Minshutō. He was a vocal opponent of the Empire Magnificent and of national partitioning. Under his leadership Jiyū-Minshutō became the only republican and unionist party represented nationally in Sekowo. abstract
| - Lee Jae-Woo (b. In 2976 his party opened talks with Teikoku Shakai-tō on the formation of a government coalition, talks which proved successful as an alliance was created that August; and Lee subsequently became Shogun. As Sekowo was still divided with continuing debate between the Empire Magnificent and Imperial Federation, the early years of Lee's government saw little done in the Gozen Kaigi. In 2980 Shogun Lee went forward his first major action and created, with the assistance of his cabinet and Jiyū-Minshutō members of parliament, the Act of Democratic Union. Initially the bill was created in 2979 and was labeled by Lee as a debate starter for constitutional reform. This decision was changed in 2980 when Lee and Minister of Internal Affairs Julian Costeau added further wording to the act to complete the overall purpose; which would disestablish the monarchy of Sekowo and end any legitimacy of the Empire Magnificent and Imperial Federation, the act would then create the United Sekowan Republic (USR), a parliamentary democracy. In September 2980 the vote on the Act of Democratic Union came to a close with only Jiyū-Minshutō supporting the bill. A few months later under pressure from Luthori and Indrala, Empress Kumiko Yukio abdicated the throne of the Empire Magnificent, which subsequently was disestablished. Upon this Sekowo became unified as the Imperial Federation under the Ishida Dynasty. Lee quickly initiated debate in the Gozen Kaigi to re-title the head of government, which was currently Shogun. It was at this time Teikoku Shakai-tō stated their intentions to restore the "old empire," a prospect which Lee showed himself to be strongly against. As the months progressed, the party's staunch opposition died down and more compromising prospects were proposed. The first of Lee's propositions was the creation of a "representative constitutional monarchy," like that of Greater Hulstria. Under this government the head of state would be a directly elected representative of the emperor. Around the same time Lee, in collaboration with Julian Costeau, pressed various criminal charges against former empress Yukio Kumiko and proposed the stripping of citizenship from all members of the Yukio Dynasty. Lee retired from years of politics in 2984. He began work part-time once again as an urban planner in Kasmenai and he also became a philanthropist, specifically helping poor families.
