The Kingdom of Sekowo (生古塢王國; Kunikata: Seikowo Ōkoku, Sekowan: Shiikuuwo Wookuku, Indralan: Shēnggǔwù Wángguó) was a medieval polity that controlled most of the territory of contemporary Sekowo between 1616 and 1875. Like the Kingdom of Touryou, the Kingdom of Sekowo was one of the successor states of the Empire of Gao-Soto after its conquest by the Luthori Empire. The Kingdom's independent existence was short-lived, however, as in 1682 it was made a protectorate of Egelion, and in 1875 The last King, Mō Sei, was overthrown by the Egelians, beginning a period of direct Egelian rule. The Kingdom of Sekowo nevertheless plays an important role in Sekowan national consciousness, as it was the first time that Sekowo was unified as an independent Kunihito state.
