His Most Serene Majesty, the First King of Pazeria and Glorious Duke of Paze, Wyl'yam Nok'tat Jara de Teti'ys was the Duke of Paze from 1721-1739 and King of Pazeria from 1739-1758. Wyl'yam, or, by his Anglicised name, William, was responsible primarily for the secession of Pazeria from Solbyrg in 1739. He was of the House of Teti'ys and a fierce opposition force to the Solbyrg Prince Net'or II, who wished to centralize power upon himself. The ideological split between Wyl'yam, who wished to give power to the Houses, and Net'or, who wished to take it from them, eventually caused the Great Split.
