The Biological Attack on Aldebaran is a major conflict in the Jihad War of the United States of JBR. The event took place at around 4:40 AM when 10 undercover FNR agents set suitcase bombs with biological weapons in various places in the city of Aldebaran. The viruses used in the attack Anthrax and an airborne strand of Ebola, are thought to have be the same viruses taken in the Sacking of the Hiroshima that happened the day before. Soon after, at around 5:00 AM the bombs went off. Much of the population didn't notice the attacks, as many were sleeping at the time. However, Midwayan authorities were alerted of the attack when a bomb was found next to the Union of Midway Capitol Building. | - The Biological Attack on Aldebaran is a major conflict in the Jihad War of the United States of JBR. The event took place at around 4:40 AM when 10 undercover FNR agents set suitcase bombs with biological weapons in various places in the city of Aldebaran. The viruses used in the attack Anthrax and an airborne strand of Ebola, are thought to have be the same viruses taken in the Sacking of the Hiroshima that happened the day before. Soon after, at around 5:00 AM the bombs went off. Much of the population didn't notice the attacks, as many were sleeping at the time. However, Midwayan authorities were alerted of the attack when a bomb was found next to the Union of Midway Capitol Building. The military and Ministry of Health was immediately alerted to the situation. The military began evacuating civilians while the Ministry of Health took all doctors that were available and tested civilians for both viruses. Over 22,200 were found to have been infected with either Anthrax or Ebola, and a small number were found to have been infected with both. Hospitals, most of which were still treating injured from the Battle of Aldebaran and the Second Battle of Aldebaran, were immediately overwhelmed with infected patients. The Emperor of the Union of Midway, Zabuza Hashimoto, was infected with Ebola when he went outside to save a 5-year old child. When others questioned as to why he saved the child he replied: The hospitals are currently doing everything they can to treat the sick, but doctors predict that the mortality rate will be high due to the overwhelming number of patients and the fact that there is no standard treatment for Ebola. An investigation conducted by the OSS immediately identified the 10 FNR agents responsible for the attack, and captured then. After an interrogation the man who ordered the attack was identified as Pietro Celega, who had commanded numerous other attacks against the Pro-JBRican Forces in the Jihad War.
