The Raid on Todell was undertaken by the Sith Empire and led by Axel Vichten and Besk Fel'ney; Besk was the master of the operation. He had received intelligence that the Dacan Pandemic of 14 ABY was not all that it seemed, and that the truth lied in the computer core in the Todell military base. The Sith raided the base under the guise of a supply freighter, and fought their way into the computer mainframe lab; there, they begun extracting data while defending their position against the Imperials. They were ultimately trapped in the base by poor use of a thermal detonator, but were able to escape with their data in hand. On the datacard they had retrieved, they learned that the Galactic Empire was responsible for the Dacan Pandemic, and had purposefully released it to expand its territory
