Previous - Invade The New Soviet Union (CYOAH) The Premier decides that launching nuclear weapons would be more devastating for the Soviets than the Union of Nations. He orders that no nukes are to be launched. In the capital of Barnaul, the city is fortified as Union troops are expected to pour in. • Previous - Invade The New Soviet Union (CYOAH) The Premier decides that launching nuclear weapons would be more devastating for the Soviets than the Union of Nations. He orders that no nukes are to be launched. In the capital of Barnaul, the city is fortified as Union troops are expected to pour in. Government officials are moved to underground bunkers built after the 1971 nuclear attacks. The Siege of Barnaul lasts for over a year and a half. Tens of thousands are killed and many more are wounded or injured. Ultimately, the Union is forced to retreat and the New USSR is victorious. However, there is little rejoicing, as the body count is atrocious and there are rampant calls for reforms. The Premier survived, although he soon resigns from his position from shame. Things are even worse in the Federative Union of Nations. Comparisons to Nazi Germany begin almost immediately, particularly the Siege of Leningrad. The Union has to carefully decide what to do now. * Continue the war with the New USSR. * Try to end the war. * Nuke the New USSR. Doctor Evulz (talk) 02:38, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
