Matthew "Matt" Murdock (also known by his alias Daredevil) is the titular protagonist of the 2015 superhero web television series Daredevil. He is a young man blinded as a boy but gifted with extraordinary senses, who dedicates his life to fight injustice in New York City as a lawyer by day, and by night as a vigilante. He is portrayed by Charlie Cox.

In time, gaining specially designed body armor that would not compromise his mobility, Murdock's alter ego came to known as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen: Daredevil.
