Geographically, eastern and southern Haxroxex are quite lush and support dense populations. The northern interior and west are extremely arid, suffering from an extreme rain shadow. Haxroxex shares a political structure similar to that of Kereske. Four formerly independent kingdoms (Xemex, Uvitxi, Qayol, and Tlek) have broad autonomy within their borders, but certain national issues fall under the jurisdiction of the the King of Xemex. Haxroxex was formed by the Union of Xemex and Uvitxi in 633 BU after the Uvitxian economy collapsed and the government could no longer fund itself, following a disastrous attempt to seize the Ngefth Islands. The Kingdom of Xemex offered to shoulder the Uvitxian in debt in exchange for a political union.

abstract
| - Geographically, eastern and southern Haxroxex are quite lush and support dense populations. The Kingdom of Xtohos is sometimes referred to as the fifth Haxro Kingdom, but the Xemexi government has never recognized any such claims. Xtohos once existed as an independent state, but it was absorbed into Xemex around 800 BU. However, for the sake of keeping peace in the small but densely-populated region, a blind eye is often turned to the self-proclaimed Xtohoi King. Qayol joined in 278 BU in the midst of a war which they had begun against Kereske. The Kereski army had pushed deep into Qayoli territory and had surrounded the Qayoli capital of Oeheril when the king finally acquiesced to accession to the Kingdom of Xemex-Uvitxi. The borders of Haxroxex then remained stable until 283 AU, when the Tlyk Kingdom found itself on the losing end of a war of conquest by Bikka-Laimiek. Similar terms were given to Tlek as were given to Qayol, though the bulk of Tlyk territory and population was lost to the Laimiekers.
