- An Ogress is a female Ogre of Oo'glog city. The regular ogresses are fairly moderate level monsters, only slightly stronger than their male counterparts.
- There is a story that tells of the ogress. Once a boy names Jack, climbed to the top of a magic beanstalk. There he met an ogre's wife who fed Jack breakfast and hid him in her oven so that her ogre husband wouldn't catch and eat him. However, Jack ended up robbing the ogres several times.
- Ogress is one of the Gamma Warriors, clones of the Hulk who work for Leader.
- Diane Davids, also known as Ogress (first appeared in Incredible Hulk #345) was a lawyer and a resident of Middletown, an isolated town in the middle of a dessert. She got so frustrated with defending criminals, that she once destroyed her client's briefcase and was held in contempt of court. It was the kind of town that no one would miss, which is probably why the Hulk 's old enemy Leader decided to expose it to gamma radiation. He hoped some of its inhabitants would survive and join him in his new kingdom of Freehold. Diane was one of only five people to survive a gamma explosion and develop superhuman powers. Diane became Ogress and joined the other four people into forming the Riot Squad. Together, they protected The Leader's Freehold base at the time when Leader had contacted a termin
- Ogress was one of the many gamma-mutates created by the Leader as part of his plan to clone an army of altered Hulk-like beings (many of which also had cybernetic enhancements) and was one of the few females encountered. Unlike the attractive She-Hulk Ogress was horribly deformed and not very intelligent with a tendency to mess things up - however she was considerably strong and was able to hold her own against She-Hulk and (to a lesser extent) a relatively enraged Hulk (she stood little chance against Hulk when he was truly enraged however).
