During the course of Wizard and Glass, she takes Eldred Jonas as a lover and becomes a minor antagonist in the book. Coral is a very hard woman. She doesn't let her emotions cloud her actions and often takes a strict approach towards resolving conflicts. She does have a soft spot for Sheemie whom she considers well-meaning and a valuable worker, although she is fine with the thought of framing Roland, Cuthbert and Alain for the murder of her brother Hart.
