  • The Temple Guard was formerly lead by Lord Khobay but he betrayed them and, along with some Traitorous Temple Guards, helped the Shadow Army overtake the temple and imprison the Eternal Forgemaster. • They were portrayed by Mellan Mitchell and Bhasker Patel.
  • During the "Eternal Flame" short story, the commander was Chappelle, Novigrad's Deputy for Security Affairs, known for several abuses of power. They are also charged to ensure safety of Great Temple of the Eternal Fire.
  • Temple Guards can be found guarding the stairs and entry to the Temple of Five Dawns[[:File:|[, ]]] on the Wandering Isle.
  • The Temple Guard was founded immediately after the Lemhites first settled in Rexburg. They were originally a dozen hand picked warriors Kite trusted to ensure the security of the Temple.
  • The Temple Guards, humanoid automatons guarding the Karma Temple and enforcing its law of peaceful coexistence in Temple grounds, are first found upon Serph's first visit to Sahasrara. They at first appear as simply devoted humans, but a later scene with Sera will reveal they are machines, as she can control them to a limited degree, ordering them to halt the Embryon's advance upon the Karma Temple (without killing them). They fail to understand the second part of the order, though, as they will not hesitate to use lethal force. A slain Temple Guard is found outside Huang Long's hideout.
  • Severely improved versions of the Priest Ghost, the Temple Guards have much higher stats and even gained a Lv. 1 Stored Attack, Verse of Curse, which make them more dangerous in comparison. However, and unlike what the description states, they don't have the Healing skill, which makes them much less of an annoyance to deal with than other Priest-type monsters.
  • Temple Guards were common soldiers of the Temple Security Force, the defenders of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. They wielded standard blaster rifles and thermal detonators. Trained by Jedi Knights, Temple Guards were considered an adequate force. They served the Jedi Order until Operation Knightfall, after which surviving members joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Later after the Galactic Civil War, Luke Skywalker restored the position for the New Jedi Order.
  • The Temple Guard are a revered and uncommon spawning of Saurus. They were created to protect the Slann Mage-Priests and the temple-cities in which the Lizardmen dwell. To their tasks, they dedicate every fibre of their beings, displaying a single-minded determination that will result in either the safeguarding of their charges or their own deaths. As befits their honoured status, Temple Guard are armed with heavy ornamental halberds and adorned with sacred glyphs. In addition to armour plates of the strongest bronze, the Temple Guard bear distinctive helms fashioned from the horned and crested skulls of Lustria’s predatory beasts.[1a]
