| - Myotismon, known as Vamdemon in the Japanese version, is one of the major antagonists in the anime, Digimon. He is perhaps the most evil of them all, and if a "main villain" for the entire first two seasons could be named, it would be Myotismon; if one were to be picky, one could say Myotismon is the Big Bad of the entire Digimon Adventure. He also reappeared in the video game, Digimon World Data Squad, and in the anime Digimon Fusion (season 3).
- Myotismon is a Ghost Digimon whose Japanese name and design are derived from the mythological Vampire and Demon, and whose English name is derived from the Greater mouse-eared bat (Myotis myotis). As the king of Undead Digimon, it was resurrected through the dark arts and obtained mighty powers. Originally a fiendish computer virus which destroyed the computer data it absorbed, it possessed the ability to revive the destroyed data as malignant computer viruses. As it possesses an extremely cruel and cunning personality, it is exceedingly difficult to destroy this Digimon. However, it cannot demonstrate its powers outside of the night, and its power is cut in half during the daytime.

Zudem scheinen sie großen Einfluss auf Fledermäuse zu haben, da sie diese kontrollieren können und eigentlich immer von einigen Fledermäusen begleitet werden. Das unterstützt ihre allgemeine Ähnlichkeit mit Vampiren neben ihrer Scheu vor Licht oder ihrer Fähigkeit anderen Lebewesen Blut auszusaugen. Vom Wesen her sind Myotismon aus tiefster Seele bösartig, gefühlskalt und grausam.

- Myotismon ist der 3. Endgegner der Digiritter aus Digimon Adventure. Er ist ein Digimon, das wie ein Vampir aussieht. Er residiert in einem Schloss in der Digiwelt, in dem sich das Tor zur realen Welt befindet. Sein Ziel ist es, dieses zu öffnen, mit seinen Untertanen in die reale Welt zu gehen, dort für Chaos zu sorgen und den 8. Digiritter zu finden. Dies gelingt ihm auch. Doch als er die Digiritter vernichten wollte, opferte sich Wizardmon um diese zu retten. Von diesem Opfer erzürnt, Digitierte Gatomon zu dem Engeldigimon Angewomon und vernichtete Myotismon mit dem Pfeil des Lichts. Jedoch kehrte Myotismon danach als Venommyotismon zurück, welcher dann aber auch besiegt werden konnte.
