  • John P. McCann is an animation writer. McCann also provided the voice of Walter Wolf's grandson in "...And Justice for Slappy." His first job at Warner Bros. Animation came as a result of his doing improv as part of the Acme Comedy troupe under the direction of Sherri Stoner's husband, M. D. Sweeney. Stoner hired him to develop a Tiny Toon Adventures spinoff starring Elmyra (the series was shelved and the "pilot" became the Tiny Toon Adventures episode "Take Elmyra, Please"). He and fellow Acme Comedy member Paul Rugg were subsequently asked to write "pilots" for Animaniacs. McCann's script, "Draculee, Draculaa," resulted in his being hired as a series writer.
