| - After the Neo UN's attempt to take island out with Fenrir, life continues on with adjustments with the abondoned Neo UN soldiers integrated into the island's society. However Maya's father come back and discovers the test for Maya eligibility as a Fafner pilot was temepered. He took the issue to trial and try to claim custody over Maya. However that was prevented by other pilot's testimonies of skewing the test data and Tsubaki's claim that she temper the data.
- Kyouhei and Maya went on a rescue mission to rescue Kazuki at Moldova base where Festum and Neo UN are battling each other. At the same time the Neo UN invades Alvis trying to secure the island by taking control of the core. But the core they were looking for left its container. Currently Kazuki pilots a Neo UN fafner to push back the festums, while Youji manages to persuade the Festum Mjolnir to give the Mark Sein to Kazuki.
- At the beginning of this episode, Mamoru's parents cried over his death. Later on, both Kazuki and Michio get an injection that allows them to better synchronize with the Nothung model. In the mean time, at a Neo UN development base, the Fafner Mark Nicht is being tested. Before the test begins, Master Form Festum Idun assimilated the Fafner's pilot, Yukie Kariya, and destroyed the development facility. Later that day, Kazuki and Tsubaki tried saving Soushi, who is still stuck in the Siegfried system. During this time the stolen Mark Nicht attacks the island and is intercepted by Kanon, Maya and Michio . Kanon, Maya and Michio were easily defeated, as Mark Nicht starts assimilating Alvis. Michio activates the Fenrir System in his Mark Eins and ejects his cockpit, but he got captured and died in the blast. However, the enemy Fafner was not affected by this attack.
- With Kazuki being a prisoner of the Neo UN, the members in Alvis were forced to choose more pilots from their candidate list. The pilots were soon tested by a new festum. The pilots were successful in defeating the new festum, but they were put in confinement for disobeying orders.
- The festum who merged with Akane is rejected by the Meir and proceeds to the island. Commander Makabe decides to join the Neo UN in a operation to take the main Meir of the Festum. Before the deployment of the remaining pilots, the Festum, Akane, gave them data to reduce the assimilation process and to restore people who have been assimilated. Akane and Kouyou went off to fend off the festum attacking the island as the pilots prepare for departure to the final battle.
- Normal life continues on as the island is preparing for their festival. However, Kouyou was released by Tsubaki after Chizuru froze him in the capsule. The pilots found Kouyou after the dance and barricaded with him in a shrine to protect him from Alvis. Kanon and Chocolat presence manage to bring Kouyou back from his half-assimilated state.
- Kenji was isolated by the Mark Nicht Festum, but he manage hold him off long off for Kanon, Kazuki, and Maya to come in and defeat him. Meanwhile Tsubaki struggles with emotions of leaving to synchronize with the core. Kazuki and the other pilots manage to rescue Soushi and prevented the Festum from spreading all over the world. When leaving the battlefield, Kazuki and Soushi were prevented from leaving by a barely alive Mark Nicht. But they manage escape. On their way to the island, Soushi disappeared due to his near assimilated state.
- Maya is assign as a sniper role with the other Fafners. Later she played a critical role in the victory against the rare type festums.
- Hiroto Douma rebels and locks himself up in the school's broadcast room, apparently upset that his dreams of stardom may not be fulfilled.
- After the defeat of the new festum by Kazuki, the Neo UN will be leaving the island, but they will be leaving one of their submarines behind. The submarine that was left behind was going to be sacrifice by activating Fenrir, which Michio found out and warn the island of the threat. Kyouhei attempts to disarm Fenrir, but Kanon took control of Fenrir. Kazuki is released from probation to confront Kanon to disarm Fenrir. Kazuki manages to convince her to disarm Fenrir in the end.
- During their string of victories against the Festum, the pilots relax and manage their personal feelings and fears. At the same time the island undergoes a strange change of seasons.
- Kazuki rescues the search plane against the commander's orders. Their battle does not go well. And Kazuki's disobedience results in more trouble to come.
- Efforts to rescue Maya and Kyouhei from the island come at a great cost to Kouyou. And Kouyou's friends and family react to the great loss differently.
- Shouko's death is received with mix reactions. Kouyou's and Sakura's performance are tested against Kazuki's Mark Elf. An island showing similarities to the Tatsumiya island is discovered, a team is assembled to investigate.
- History of Alvis and the war between Festum and the human were revealed. Kazuki meets up with Youji, a former island resident, and had a discussion of current events. After the Neo UN's announcement of their new weapon, Festum invaded the Neo UN Moldova base where Kazuki is held. Youji meanwhile is trying to persuade the festum, who assimilated Akane, to meet Kazuki and give Mark Sein to him.
- Various children on the island are selected for enrollment into the service, much to the despair of many parents. Meanwhile, Kazuki discovers someone at the basement of the base. A search plane flies in the direction of the island's location. And an enemy appears at a bad time.
- After the battle with a recent festum attack, the pilots found out that Sakura has been assimilated in the previous episode. Commander Makabe confronts Tsubaki of the recent events of the festum attacks and the island's change weather and wildlife. A new festum appears and counters each attack of the pilots leaving them unable to fight. Mamoru makes a desperate attempt. He was successful, but the Festum took him with it.
- After the occupation of Alvis's Tatsumiyajima island by the Neo UN forces, a new festum arrives to assault the island. The Neo UN, Mamoru, Kenji, and Sakura barely put up a fight against the new Festum, but were still defeated. Kazuki arrives in time and defeats the new Festum with the Mark Sein.
- Shouko's friends and mother express concern over her medical condition. The U.N.'s fleets makes an approach to the island to pick up the Mark Sechs that they requested but is attacked by a Festum along the way.
- Kazuki leaves the remote island Tatsumiyajima with Yukie Kariya along with taking the Mark Elf. Residence of the island speculate Kazuki's leave of the island. After Kazuki and Kariya arrived at a destroyed city and make camp. They were attacked by a Festum Sphinx type. Two fafners piloted by Kanon and Michio appeared and destroyed the festum. But then they turned on Kazuki and disabled his fafner.
- The Neo UN occupies Alvis, however the core of the island they were searching for is missing. Back at the Moldova base, Kazuki gains the Fafner Mark Sein from Mjolnir. Kazuki continues to fight against Festum Master Form Idun. Mark Sein and Idun fall into a lava pit that was generated by Mark Sein. Kazuki confronts with his internal conflicts in the past and with himself. At the island, a new festum appears.
- Two Festums have appeared, and with Kazuki preoccupied with one of them, Shouko makes a decisive decision to act. Her actions saves the island and she keeps her promises to Kazuki and her mother. But the cost for everyone is too great.
- The team arrive on the island and various units set out to explore the apparently uninhabited island. Things go horribly wrong however.
- Kazuki pilots the Fafner and defeats the enemy. But the children on the island, previously oblivious, must now face the horrible reality of their situation.
