| - CC-1450, better known as Phoenix was a Commander of Nightingale Squad, a group of four Clones tasked with assisting the Jedi on missions of their own, as well as conducting covert special ops missions on the CIS. A close friend of Jedi Master Jeden Vesal, Phoenix shared the Jedi's sense of humour and served as his right-hand man in Nightingale Squad. Born on Kamino as a Clone of the Mandalorian Jango Fett in 32 BBY, Phoenix was one of many Clones who would make up the Grand Army of the Republic. Becoming a Sniper and a commander, Phoenix was made the leader of a four-man elite unit called Nightingale Squad and one of the commanders of the 44th Special Forces Division, alongside Marshal Commander Lion. Phoenix first saw action on Geonosis, where he met the Jedi Knight Jeden Vesal, who would later become one of his closest friends. Following Geonosis, the Republic went to war with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, with the Clones and the Jedi Order leading the fight. Jeden became a Jedi Master and a High General, in charge of the 44th and Nightingale Squad. Over the course of thre years, Phoenix went on many missions, including preventing a deadly invasion of Sullust; stopping an invasion of Coruscant from within the planet iself; eliminating a dangerous dark-side cult on the Sith homeworld of Korriban; and helping to capture the Hutt world of Ylesia in the start of the Outer Rim Sieges. Following a large engagement over Coruscant, the War seemed to be at it's end, the Republic victorious. However, it was then that Supreme Chancellor Palpatine gave Order 66 to all Clone commanders over the galaxy: the order to kill any Jedi on sight. Despite the command coming from Palpatine himself, Phoenix realized that Palpatine was a liar and a Sith Lord, and due to his strong friendship to Jeden (and his Padawan, Koses Lik-Har), Phoenix and the 44th disobeyed Order 66, before fleeing with their Jedi allies into Deep Space. From there, the 44th and their three-cruiser fleet began a stealth-based campaign against the newly-formed Galactic Empire, a campaign that lasted for nigh two decades. Following the formation of the Alliance to Restore the Republic (a formation of multiple anti-Empire rebel cells led by former Republic Senator Bail Organa), the 44th became an official military unit once more, and Phoenix went back into action alongside Nightingale Squad, often leading large strike teams on secretive missions into Imperial space. However, following the Battle of Hoth, the 44th and it's fleet, save Jeden, Koses, Gini Reyall (Jeden's Jedi lover as a Padawan) and Nightingale Squad, were destroyed by an enormous collection of Star Destroyers over Tatooine. Despite their grief, Phoenix and the Squad continued, returning to service and serving with Koses on missions instead of Jeden after the latter took on and trained a new Padawan, Kayla Lanos. Phoenix fought alongside Jeden and Gini once more during the Battle of Endor, which aimed to destroy the Second Death Star and eliminate both Palpatine and the infamous Darth Vader, ending the War for good. After infiltrating a Star Destroyer and using it's guns on the Imperial fleet, the Squad retreated to Endor, just as the Death Star was destroyed. The War was over, but Phoenix remained in the New Republic military. However, he wouldn't live for long after. In 8 ABY, just 4 years after the War's end, the quick ageing cycles of the Clones restarted, and after coming into poor health, the four Clone members of Nightingale Squad perished, the last to die being Phoenix.
