He possessed very little loyalty to those who he worked for—Emperor Roan Fel, and later Darth Krayt. Instead, Vydrek was ambitious and more interested in his own power than serving others. These qualities were considered useful by the One Sith Order, which was why they named him the Grand Vizier after Dallis Eregin, the first one, was executed for treason. Vydrek greatly increased the power of the Grand Vizier office and angered many Moffs, who were worried that their own influence was eroding. Beginning his term in 131 ABY, Vydrek created a more centralized organization and had more military forces placed under his jurisdiction. However, by 133 ABY, he no longer felt safe in his position with the Moffs closing in. Some Sith also wanted him gone, thinking he may be challenging their power. Due to these pressures, Vydrek resigned that year and left Coruscant. Where he went or what happened to him after that remained unknown.
