Its resources like metals, crystals and mines holding excellent building material, were greatly valuable to the populace, (Coshonas and Tremblarks), as well as th CIS. When Calvin, and Jall arrived, They had already suffered damaged and they unknowingly lost all their communications to Coruscant. Calvin wanted to try something completely new. Calvin fortified ancient bunkers that surrounded most of the city using both Cashona and trooper technology.
