Starting 17th in the field of twenty-six, Webb fell victim to overheating issues late in the race but still managed a solid 13th place finish. Webb's 1961 results, meanwhile, were mixed. Starting 35th in the field of thirty-six at [[Marchbanks Speedway, Webb had early rear end gear issues in the race and finished 33rd. But luckily, Webb had a career race in his final start, competing at Sacramento. There, Webb finished all but three laps and wound up with a solid 7th place finish.
