Greenies are enemies that appear in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. They are the most common type of ghost seen in the game and are found in every mansion.

Greenies are players who have logged in for less than fifteen hours across all oceans combined. It is possible for a greenie to be a subscriber. Greenies can see the pink names of greeters. They also have a special button that will put them in direct contact with a greeter for assistance. Name color does not indicate whether a player has bought doubloons or subscribed.

They usually appear in groups of about 2 to 5, somtimes with other ghosts especially Slammers. They have 10 HP, the lowest of all ghosts in the game. They can use sunglasses to block the Strobulb's flash, which the player must suck off before they defeat them. The player can sometimes use the Dark-Light on them instead. They are capable of disguising themselves as mummies or in suits of armour. To get around this, Luigi must lead the mummies into the wall or burn the bandages with a torch to give him a chance to pull of the bandages, exposing the Greenie underneath. For the suits of armour, Luigi must lead them on to a rug and pull it from beneath their feet, knocking them over. In the Old Clockworks, several Greenies begin to create mini-tornadoes to suck in the player. They also develop a Paranormal Shield.
