During the Toran Liberation War, Tir McDohl and his entourage launched a new, motor-powered boat from Rikon to overcome the Rapids. As of the time of the Liberation War, the town was called "Premier L'Amour" as per the order of General Milich Oppenheimer; however, the name proved unpopular and was quickly changed back to Rikon following the Liberation Army's takeover of the town. The appraiser, Jabba, originally had a shop set up in this town, but joined the Liberation Army after they brought him a Nameless Urn. The Howling Voice Guild gunner, Clive, was known to have stopped at the inn here during his pursuit of the renegade gunner, Elza. People have been known to repeatedly enter and exit the building in hopes of spotting this mysterious character.
