Whilst Anchored Mode is equipped to the Prowler, the tank can deploy in the same way that a Sunderer would to activate it's S-AMS; by holding still in the desired location, then pressing B. After a short deployment delay, the benefits will take effect. Mobilization is immediate, and the Prowler will lose the bonuses as soon as it mobilizes, however will also instantly regain its movement capabilities. Due to the large increase to projectile velocity, the Prowler becomes excellent at long range siege, able to hit targets far out of expected ranges. Anchored Mode only affects the primary weapon, the one controlled by the Prowler's driver. The secondary weapon, manned by the gunner, is completely unaffected by the module, which may leave weapons such as the G30 Vulcan and P525 Marauder less favorable to a Prowler equipped with Anchored Mode. The MR11 Gatekeeper and, to a lesser extent, the E540 Halberd may be more enticing to an Anchored Mode Prowler, as their large muzzle velocities allow them to remain highly competitive at the longer ranges that the Prowler may be engaging at.
