Ischemia is Florida-based death metal band Encephalitic Punishment's eleventh album, released on September 14th 2010. It is the band's first record in two years, after 2008's Hypochondriasis. A single, "Where The Sun Fades Obscura", was released on July 31rd via the band's website for download, and charted at #56 on the Extreme Metal Charts. The single was also critically successful, with general praise going towards the technicality of the song and the surprising inclusion of keyboards, courtesy of Nephilim, formerly of Nocturna. A music video was filmed and released on September 1st, and was nominated for Best Death Metal Music Video in 2011.
