- "What must we do to pass this inspection, Maester Lucas?"
- "We've received a raven from the Martells, my [lady/lord]. We are to present the men-at-arms for an inspection, in three days, as are the Goldfoots."
- "Not unless you'd risk the penalties of offending your lord bannerman, my [lord/lady], as well as looking unprepared in the eyes of the Martells."
- "If our men were to demonstrate mastery of new tactics I've heard whispers of, then we might impress our lordship."
- "Groat, we have better things to focus our efforts on, is there a way out of this?"
- "We shall ready the men for an inspection, as long as there's no hurt to our routine."
- "Might there be a way to impress our lord bannerman with our excellence, Rona?"
- "Drilling the armsmen in formations, maneuvers, and fighting skills should suffice. The 'Tome of Battles' is in my study, if you'd care to peruse it."
- "We shall do our best to demonstrate new military tactics being used in war."
