Edward Lionheart is the main antagonist of the British horror Theatre of Blood. He started as a Shakespearean actor in the theater. At the Critics Circle Awards, when he was about to accept, the youngest critic Peregrine Devlin instead give the Best Actor of the Year award to William Woodstock. He did it because Lionheart would not appear in plays not from Shakespeare. The actor drops himself into the Thames, but was saved by the Meths Drinkers. With his new life, he began to exact revenge on the critics who denied him the award.
