Scourge, knowing that ultimately, Ultra Magnus is a good guy, directly threatens a human life to force Ultra Magnus and Prime to surrender. Sky-Byte, however, refuses to let Scourge get away with upstaging the Predacons and thus interferes—giving Prime and Magnus the opportunity to disable Scourge. The Predacons leave with the generator in hand, the Decepticons leaving after them. Ultra Magnus, never willing to give up, follows. Optimus is content knowing that no humans were harmed and that perhaps there is a chance for he and his brother Ultra Magnus to one day be friends again.
