Raven was taught the basics on how to control the Force and when her father was transferred to a different Post. She lost contact with the traveling merchant and they never saw each other again. When a Jedi Knight ran into Raven at a New Republic Base he saw great potential in her and the Jedi Knight asked her if she wanted to join the Order. Raven accepted the offer and shortly after she left her father and moved to Onderon. The Jedi that discovered her was a new Jedi Knight, Jedi Nu’ruus. She trained under Jedi Knight Nu’ruus as his Padawan until his misfortunate death at the hands of a Darksider from the clandestine cult, the Cult of Shadow. They were on a mission to transport New Republic documents to a secret base when they were ambushed by the Darksider. Nu’ruus was mortally wounded by the darksider and eventually succumbed to his wounds. The Darksider wounded, he escaped with the important New Republic document. Raven had witnessed the whole attack but she was unable to fend off the assailant. Raven barley escaped the attack with her life if it wasn’t for her mentor. After losing her mentor, Raven was sent back to the Jedi Temple on Onderon where she would stay until she could be assigned a new mentor. While Raven has been at the Jedi Temple she has made new friends like Caitlyn DeVries and Akain Karna.
