Articles should conform to a standard with such words to avoid confusion. * Magic - As opposed to words like Magick, because we're not going to talk about street magicians here. * Therian - Someone who refers to themself as "Therian", or is recognized as part of the community that calls itself the "Therian" community. * Otherkin - Someone who refers to themself as "Otherkin", or is recognized by that community. * Why? Because to debate the difference otherwise requires too much thought and has large gray areas, this is pretty static. If someone fits both, they are both. * Animal Person - DON'T USE THIS WORD. It's gaining popularity in some places, but Therian is more popular. * Were - DON'T USE THIS WORD. This sounds cool, but it's silly and misleading. * Lycanthrope - DON'T USE THIS WORD. It can mean too many things. (and was used in Underworld) * Fictional Weres - This is the ONLY term that should be used to refer to Werewolves from fiction. * Metaphysics - The study of the non-physical world in general. * Occult - This is more applied than Metaphysics, and covers actual delving into things like Demonology and Magic.
