Benjamin Burch (c. May 9, 1761-May 5, 1832) was an American soldier and businessman of some note. He served in the closing years of the American Revolution, where records indicate he was captured by the British and ultimately exchanged. During the War of 1812, Burch, now an artillery captain in the United States Army, was one of the few American officers to acquit himself well at the Battle of Bladensburg.
