The unnamed Lorry Driver was a delivery man who asked Stan Ogden for directions to Coronation Street when he was on his milk-round and then proceeded to deliver one hundred and eight Christmas trees from Newcastle to Dennis Tanner at the Corner Shop. Instead of Dennis, the driver found an irate Lionel Petty who wasn't happy to discover that Dennis, who lived at No.11, had put the shop as his business address. Lionel refused to sign for delivery but Dennis then arrived at the shop, upon which the driver made him sign and gave him ten minutes to decide where he wanted him to leave the tress.
