When the prince was face-to-face with the dragon, an intense battle was begun, and they would fight for three days and three nights. In the last moment, the exhausted prince fooled the dragon and cut some tree branches with his sword, which fell over the dragon and astonished it. Lastly, the prince got in the dragon's back and stabbed it, giving end to the Polish attack on Trilfuva. It is home to the Rainbow Hawk, a bird native to Leubantia.
