| - Abigail is a unit original to Metal Slug Attack, first appearing in the Extra Ops titled Sand Locker (as a pre-acquisition unit, obtained by purchasing 10,000 medals). As that event has finished and she is no longer a part of the Medal/VIP Crank, parts can only be obtained through the Extra/Rare Shops and the occasional Event Crank. She is the first female Rebel Army character to be introduced to the series. The Patrol Robot can be considered a cheaper version of Abigail, as it shares the same effects as her, but has less health, lower AP, and a longer firing time.

In battle, she's accompanied by four flying drones equipped with long-ranged, piercing lasers. Her hefty damage output compensates for her high AP cost and low health pool. Abigail is similar to her sister Beatriz in terms of combat, albeit in a slightly inverted way. Abigail's close range attack does unusually high damage (and can remove enemy projectiles), whereas her long range attack, while still very powerful compared to that of most other units, does considerably less. As with Beatriz, her long range attack doesn't cause enemies to flinch, making it much more likely that it'll deal its full damage output without granting them the "mercy invincibility" a knockback would provide. Abigail's special has piercing traits and can hit every enemy it reaches, including the enemy base, but does considerably less damage than her other attacks. With File:MSA Skill small +.png 4, she'll always inflict a damage reducing debuff that lasts for two seconds, giving her side's attacks more power. Giving her the Two Machine Guns item will double her own long range damage output. The Patrol Robot can be considered a cheaper version of Abigail, as it shares the same effects as her, but has less health, lower AP, and a longer firing time. Abigail does not have any anti-air capabilities, and her low health makes her susceptible to suicide/special attacks. It's generally recommended to keep her well shielded with other units, except within guild raids: allowing the enemy to approach right up to the base and then locking them there (eg with the Professor) will allow her to unleash a devastating beatdown with her close range attack. If she and the Motorbike P.O.W. Ver.2 are placed in the same deck, they form the "One-Way" team - lowering their AP costs by 10%.
