abstract
| - Emily Gibbons was a senator in the J Andres Commune from the Queen's Reformation in 2032 until her election as President in 2065. During her tenure in the Commune, she served as the Chairperson of the Nationalist Party. When she was became President in 2065, she was the first female to do so. After the 2060 Elections, in which the Nationalist Party lost 112 seats and fell to 12%, Gibbons set to use her influence to rebrand the Nationalist Party in a new image. The Nationalist Party had historically been connected with Josef Mercton and his family. In the years following Josef's death, the House of Mercton had been a bigger liability than an asset. Gibbon's rebranding attempt was ultimately successful, as she was elected President in the 2064 elections.
