| - The New Jersey Titans are a Tier II junior ice hockey team in the North American Hockey League. Based in Middletown Township, New Jersey, the Titans play their home games at the Middletown Ice World Arena. Prior to the franchise's move to Middletown, the NAHL franchise played from 2005 to 2012 in Traverse City, Michigan as the Traverse City North Stars, and from 2012 to 2015 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan as the Soo Eagles. Prior to purchasing the NAHL franchise, the Titans' junior hockey organization had previously fielded a Tier III junior hockey team in the Eastern Hockey League and its ancestor league; the Atlantic Junior Hockey League from 2012 to 2015. They continue to field a team in the Tier III North American 3 Atlantic Hockey League. The ownership of the Soo Eagles decided to join the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League after many of the other NAHL teams in the near them had either relocated or folded. The ownership of the EHL team purchased the NAHL franchise rights of the Soo Eagles, not the players as well. The Titans started as an NAHL team with a clean slate. The team deactivated the EHL franchise and started operations as an NAHL team for 2015-16. There was also a Junior Titans team that played in the Atlantic Junior Hockey League for the 2003-04 season before withdrawing. No information to verify if this team was from the same organization or not.
