Gwen plays a role in the Bonus Mission Pack, in which you play as her as she narrowly escapes from the Charr. This takes place between The Searing and Eye of the North. In the official trailer for Eye of the North released on July 19, 2007, which Gwen narrates, she was shown joining ranks of the Vanguard. She is also available as a hero in GW:EN.
