The game's opening movie clips and two Embu's in games such as Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken 4 were also available to be viewed in this mode. Until Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the stage music could also be played in its own music player, similar to the remastered Tekken Tunes feature now present in the game. - Theater Mode is an unlockable feature in Metroid: Other M. After the game is completed at least once, the player will unlock a cinema feature that allows them to watch every cutscene in the game. In addition, there is gameplay footage prerecorded by the developers, shown in between cutscenes for a seamless transition. From start to finish, the feature lasts about 2 hours. Yoshio Sakamoto explained the purpose of Theater Mode in his own words:
- Theater Mode can be unlocked in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance . It allows the player to re-watch all voiced cutscenes in the game after beating it at any time via the main menu, where "New Game" and "Load" are accessible (except in the case of Kingdom Hearts 3D, where Theater Mode is accessible from the main menu during gameplay in the Mementos menu). Theater Mode was first introduced with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ package of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories.
- Theater Mode is an unlockable extra in Killer Is Dead: Nightmare Edition. The mode is available after completing the game once on any difficulty. The mode provides additional background information on the game's characters and events.
