While at the CorSec Academy, she received a degree in Criminal Law and Justice with an emphasis in Tactical Operations and Weapons, and graduated wtih honors at the top of her class. Assigned to the Special Crimes Unit, Sasha made a name for herself early on in her career receiving high praises from her superiors for getting the job down despite the odds or complexity of the case, and being able to adapt and think on her feet to secure a favorable outcome of a situation quickly. The spirirted Corellisi's sharp shooter skills, leadership under pressure, and natural athletic ability were also factored into her high performance ratings leading to a promotion to Detective 1st class, then later Lead Detective of her own SCU team. Though being a Corellian and a redhead, her stubborness and temper sometimes got the best of her, and Starkos had been dinged a time or two for that. What could Sasha say? She was her mother's daughter, who got it from her grandfather, a grizzled ex-CorSec agent himself. But the old dog was just plain ornery, where her mother was redheaded just like her. Sometimes she wondered where her father fit into this picture. After All, he was a Jedi, who was noted for being calm, patient, and thoughtful before he took decisive action. There were signs that his daughter might be Force-senstive, but Sasha always put that notion to bed before it could ever go any where. Red was happy just being the way she was. Period.
