| - There is a lot of information in the Principia Discordia, most of which is completely useless unless you are in fact a Discordian.
- Principia Discordia is a Discordian religious text written by Gregory Hill (Malaclypse the Younger) and Kerry Wendell Thornley (Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst). It was originally published under the title "Principia Discordia or How The West Was Lost" in a limited edition of 5 copies in 1965. The name, meaning "The Principles of Strife", deviates from correct Latin which would read Principia Discordiæ.

- Principia Discordia to święta księga dyskordianizmu, napisana przez Grega Hilla (Malaklipsę Młodszego) i Kerry'ego Thornley'a (Omara Khayyama Ravenhursta). Tytuł z języka łacińskiego można tłumaczyć "Zasady Niełady". Książka opisuje w luźny sposób filozofię dyskordianizmu. W Polsce Principia Discordia ukazała się nakładem, nieistniejącego już, Wydawnictwa Fox [w opracowaniu Eugo, członka Międzynarodowego Stowarzyszenia Rzeczników Wolności Wewnętrznej (Non-Prophet Irreligion Disorganisation), i założyciela The Non-Existing Cacophonic Society Poland]. Tytuł z języka łacińskiego można tłumaczyć "Zasady Niełady". Książka opisuje w luźny sposób filozofię dyskordianizmu. Po raz pierwszy opublikowano ją w 1965 w 5 egzemplarzach, pod tytułem Principia Discordia or How The West Was Lost (Principia Discordia, czyli Jak Upadł Zachód). Czwarte wydanie ukazało się pod tytułem Principia Discordia or How I Found The Goddess & What I Did To Her When I Found Her (Principia Discordia, czyli Jak Odnalazłem Boginię I Co Jej Wtedy Zrobiłem), a piąte i ostateczne Principia Discordia or a Catterpiller’s Praise To The Butterfly (Principia Discordia, czyli Gąsienicowy Zachwyt Nad Motylem). W Polsce Principia Discordia ukazała się nakładem, nieistniejącego już, Wydawnictwa Fox [w opracowaniu Eugo, członka Międzynarodowego Stowarzyszenia Rzeczników Wolności Wewnętrznej (Non-Prophet Irreligion Disorganisation), i założyciela The Non-Existing Cacophonic Society Poland]. It features typewritten and handwritten text intermixed with clip art, stamps, and seals appropriated from other sources, likely in violation of any number of copyright laws throughout six minor planets. While the Principia is full of literal contradictions and unusual humor, it contains several passages which propose that there is serious intent behind the work, for example a message scrawled on page 00075: "If you think the PRINCIPIA is just a ha-ha, then go read it again." The Principia is quoted extensively in and shares many themes with the science fiction book The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. While Wilson was not directly involved in writing the Principia, both the letter signed "Mad Malik" and the stamps used were his. Notable symbols in the book include the Apple of Discord, the pentagon, and the Sacred Chao. Saints identified include Emperor Norton, Yossarian, Don Quixote, and Bokonon. The Principia also introduces the mysterious word fnord, later popularized in The Illuminatus! Trilogy; the trilogy itself is mentioned in the afterword to the Loompanics edition, and in the various introductions to the fifth editions.
