| - Francis Xavier was a human Insurrectionist. Born in the city of Prague on Kafka. Born to a nurse mother and historian father, Xavier lived a fairly comfortable life. Although his family was rather well-to-do, much like his father, Francis sympathized with the causes of the Insurrectionists, leading to several fights with some of his peers who supported the UNSC. In 2554, with Xavier having been denied entrance to all the colleges he applied to, he took up a job as a manual laborer at the municipal airport, with flight lessons in place of being paid. In June, the Kafkian Protests broke out into violence, and on July 19th, four days after independence was declared, Xavier was recruited by the United Rebel Front into the Kafkian Rangers. Already having had flight training, Xavier was placed into the cockpit of a jet trainer formerly used by the UNSC Air Force. Trained at a breakneck pace, Francis quickly took to flying for the rebels. On August 9th, the UNSC arrived, and with their arrival, Xavier was sent on his first combat mission. At 0143 Hours on the night of August 10th, Francis attacked a unit of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.
