"Down to the Sea" is the first song in the film The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea. The song is sung by mainly Ariel and Sebastian, but is also sung by Prince Eric, Grimsby and both humans and merpeople. During the song, it mainly explaining that Ariel is at long last returning to the sea with her husband and a few subjects so that both humans and merpeople together can celebrate the christening of Ariel and Eric's newborn daughter: Melody.
