- Marvel's Damage Control is a TV series that is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series follows the underworked, underpaid, clean up crew of the Marvel Universe. Specializing in dealing with the aftermath of the unique fallout from super hero conflicts, they’re the ones who are in charge of returning lost ray guns to their rightful owners, help to reschedule a wedding venue after it has been vaporized in a super hero battle, or even track down a missing prize African parrot that’s been turned to stone or goo.

- Damage control referred to groups of crew members that was tasked with fighting fires and repairing critical shipboard systems in order to keep starships operational in times of crisis where starships took damage. They usually acted as teams called damage control teams. In the Lyran Starfleet, damage control was a subdivision of the engineering division and, as such, Urie commanded one of the Stoneship's damage control teams. (Star Trek: The Stoneship Files) Combat support tenders were used to effect repairs to starships beyond the capacity of any one starship's damage control teams.
- 1. If your DCC (Damage Control Capacity) drops lower than the damage levels (flooding and/or fire) your ships is doomed.2. DCC seems to be defined by shipsize(tons)/crewsize. While the first is a constant factor, Crewsize will obviously drop during battles due to casualties reducing your DCC.3. Armour is a very important factor. Thick armour means that Damage will stack only slowly and the crew has more time fixing Damage levels. German BB/BC will have an edge here because of their better armour and due to brittle Brit AP Shells. Unarmoured ships are very vulnerable and have to be pulled out of battle early.
